This past weekend, I visited the Dallas edition of The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art. There were so many phenomenal artists & friends from DFW that participated! Here are some of my favorite creatives that had their creations on display!
lindsay extrom
Lindsay’s work always makes me smile. It’s just so clever! This year, she included some descriptions of the deeper meanings within the paintings. I own a very cool print of her Abraham Lincoln piece. And like a good businesswoman, she’s not just selling art at her booth, she also sells merch with her artwork!
brad antifolk
His unique hand drawn images coated in resin are always a big hit at TOAF. I’ve been a fan of is work for a long time, and as an artist who uses resin in my work as well, I have deep respect for his craftsmanship.
Diane Pereira
Lady Di always packs a punch with her colorful and memorizing art. I own a few pieces of her work already, and her signature monster murals are popping up all over the metroplex. ~ she’s definitely one to watch. (Artsy Scoop Spotlight coming soon!)
Emmmanuel Gillespie
This soft-spoken man is an extremely accomplished artist and prolific creator. His works are always moving and impressive to behold. Emmanuel also owns the Dallas gallery space Pencil on Paper Gallery with his wife, Dr. Valerie. Love them!
gwen meharg
Gwen is based in Fort Worth and is just a hoot to be around. Her art reflects her personality, as does her hair 😉 It seems everybody at the show loves her and her big hugs. This artist is a joy to know and support!
ryan mckee
Ryan (and his wife, Kim) are such a down to earth, kind couple. His work is fun and highly entertaining that you just can’t stop looking at it. He even gave me a neon pink hat that says, “Art Appreciation, Pass It On”. There will be a separate social post with his work soon!
jess tedder
I met Jess back in 2019 when we both participated in the inaugural Dallas TOAF show. I have followed and kept up with her work ever since. She is immensely talented, and her nudes are as gorgeous as she is. I can’t wait to see what’s next from her!
